Our Story
It started with a question...
What happens when women stop performing wellness and start talking about it?
She becomes a Fauxylady.

My Story
Fauxvember began with a question I was asking myself.
While completing my Master of Arts in Leadership, I began looking more honestly at how I was managing stress. I realized that wine had quietly become one of the ways I switched off, softened hard days and created a little distance from everything I was carrying.
That reflection made me curious about the stories we carry, the expectations we place on ourselves, and the habits we associate with coping, celebrating and connecting.
What began as personal opened the door to something much bigger — a space for women to get curious about our health and wellbeing — without judgement, pressure or perfection.
What I uncovered is that I'm a Fauxylady!

Fauxvember
It starts in November.
Fauxvember began with a simple invitation: spend November getting curious about our relationship with alcohol.

For some women, that means taking a month off. For others, it means drinking less and paying closer attention to when, why and how alcohol shows up in our lives.

It's about creating a space to notice our habits, question what serves us and make choices that feel right for us — and have some fun and support around us as we explore it.

November starts the conversation. But it doesn't have to end there.
What Fauxvember does and does not support
Because real conversations need clear boundaries.

Curiosity over judgment
Authenticity over perfection
Connection over comparison
Progress over perfection

NOT a replacement for professional healthcare.
NOT Medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
NOT A prescription for what wellness should look like.
NOT A place for judgment, shame or perfection.
Fauxvember is about conversation, curiosity and connection. When you need professional support, we’ll always encourage you to seek it.
Wellness goes beyond November
Because wellness isn't one thing. Neither are you.
Fauxvember may start with changing one habit for one month and that's amazing in itself, and it may just be the opportunity to keep exploring the whole you — to keep asking questions about our bodies, our relationships, our wellbeing and our choices.
That's the spirit of a Fauxylady.

What's a Fauxylady?
She's not who the world told her to be.
A Fauxylady is a member of the Fauxvember Society Women's Health — a woman choosing to take off the masks she's collected along the way — the expectations, roles and stories about who she should be.
She isn't perfect. She isn't pretending to be. She's getting curious.
She's curious about who she is now. She makes room for honest conversations, imperfect journeys, laughter, connection and the whole messy experience of being a woman.
